The little dog was inside an SUV that was stolen from the HyVee in Mission last Monday. The SUV was found later that night, but Maybel was nowhere to be found.

On Sunday, an individual noticed Maybel at a neighbor's home down the street, so they grabbed the dog and helped reunite the pup with Liz, her rightful owner.
The suspect in the case, identified as Timothy J. Best Jr., remains at large.
