
KANSAS CITY - A driver was injured after crashing into the back of a school bus in Rose Hill, near Wichita.
It happened around 8:00 a.m. Wednesday morning in the 1800 block of Rose Hill Road.
The Butler County Sheriff's office says the bus was stopped, waiting to pick up students, when an S-U-V hit the back of the bus, at highway speeds.
The driver was seriously injured and rescuers had to use the Jaws of Life to free the person.
No students were on the bus and the bus driver was not injured.
