ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMOX) - St. Louis County Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting that happened after six Sunday evening at the Walgreens on Dorsett Road.
We were initially told it involved a Maryland Heights officer, and that officer was not injured.
Investigators determined a man fired at the officer, and he returned fire, killing the suspect.
County police say the Maryland Heights officer is 30-years-old and has been with the MHPD for two-and-a-half years, after serving elsewhere in law enforcement before that.
