Kansas City - The FBI plans to add several dozen agents into field offices in Missouri, most of them in Kansas City.
FBI Director Kash Patel says 37 will be sent to Missouri: 33 to Kansas City, two to Springfield and one to Jefferson City. Patel says the agents being moved out of Washington DC are mainly going to cities with the highest rates of violent crime per capita, such as Kansas City.
KC Mayor Quinton Lucas was asked about the additional FBI staff today when he appeared on Kansas City’s Morning News.
