
Kansas City, MO – Those heading to the Garth Brooks concert at Arrowhead Stadium this Saturday need to bring a mask with them.
The Chiefs announcing that concert-goers will be asked to wear masks when in enclosed areas of the stadium, regardless of vaccination status, to keep in line with the updated mask mandate in Kansas City, Missouri.
The indoor areas of Arrowhead include: the CommunityAmerica Club Level, the Ford Founder’s Club, the Foolish Lounge, the Broadcast Lounge, the Signature Suite Lounge, the Locker Room Club and the Chiefs Pro Shop.
Masks remain recommended, but not required, outdoors for all unvaccinated guests, and all unvaccinated staff members, and all staff members working inside enclosed public areas will be directed to wear masks.
Masks will not be required in the main bowl portion of the venue itself, as those areas are considered to be outside.
Around 70,000 people are expected to attend the sold out concert Saturday night.
The Kansas City Health Department is holding a vaccination event outside the stadium from 3pm - 7pm Saturday. And all those choosing to get a vaccination will be entered into a drawing for floor seats at the concert.
