Kansas City, MO - Fans of the Kansas Jayhawks are having trouble finding flights to New Orleans for the NCAA Tournament Final Four.

Most flights are fully booked because of high demand and understaffed airlines. Remaining flights to Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport out of Kansas City International Airport were selling for more than $1,000 per ticket, said Julie Weeks of Acendas Travel in Mission.

Mid range hotel chains like Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn were charging $600 to $800 for locations near the Super Dome, where the national semifinal and final games will be played.
