Kansas City, MO – Parents looking to get their kids vaccinated against COVID-19 will have to be patient if they don’t already have an appointment.

In Johnson County, appointments at the health department's covid vaccine clinic filled up fast, says Stacy Province, Johnson County Department of Health and Environment.

“We are fully booked through November 29th,” said Province.

Province said there are plenty of vaccines to go around and plenty of staff in Johnson County, just limited time slots. Province recommends watching the JOCO Health Department's website to catch an open slot. They're accepting appointments until December 2nd.

There are other options for parents. The covid shot is available at pharmacies, and at doctor's offices.
