Kansas man seriously injured after paragliding crash

KANSAS CITY - A man paragliding suffered serious injuries when he crashed into a field near McPherson Saturday afternoon.

The crash happened around 1:45 p.m. near 23rd Avenue and Overland Road in McPherson County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said a 24-year-old man from Galva was transported to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

The report stated the pilot crashed into a field for an unknown reason. The KHP also said the man was wearing a helmet and safety goggles.
