KANSAS CITY - The State of Kansas took in fewer taxes than expected in March. The Revenue Department shows $13.6 million was collected, or 2% below the estimate. And 16% lower than March of 2024 figures.
State officials plan to meet later this month, to decide if the fall estimates should be revised.
