KANSAS CITY - A 31-year-old man from Kansas City, Kansas, is facing criminal charges after allegedly stabbing a teenage girl who was on the job at a Fleet Farm store in Minnesota.
Gerald Dwayne Hudson is accused of 1st and 2nd degree assault for this week's incident at a Fleet Farm in Carver, Minnesota, on the west edge of the Twin Cities.
According to "Bring Me The News," Hudson had asked the 17-year-old a question while at the store and he apparently wasn't happy with the answer and stabbed the teen.
The girl suffered significant blood loss from a large laceration on her neck, briefly lost consciousness and was hospitalized in critical but stable condition.
Hudson fled the scene, but was later arrested and remains in jail as the case against him moves through the courts. What he allegedly used to stab the girl has not been located.
