KANSAS CITY - On Wednesday night, agents of the Kansas Bureau of Investigation were involved in a shooting while serving an arrest warrant.
According to the KBI, the shooting occurred around 8:50 p.m. at 11 S. 10th St. in Kansas City, Kansas.
One 25-year-old male suspect was shot during the arrest. The man was transported to a hospital and is expected to recover.
The Special Agent who wounded the suspect was placed on paid administrative leave pending further investigation. The KBI has asked the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department to investigate the shooting.
