KANSAS CITY - Mayor Quinton Lucas joined Kansas City’s Morning News today, where he spoke about the weekend murder of a local firefighter/paramedic.
Lucas says the death of Graham Hoffman, 29, is one of the most tragic incidents he’s experienced during his tenure and they will use the incident to learn more about how this happened and make sure that it doesn’t happen again.

The suspect, Shanetta Bossell, stabbed Hoffman in the heart while she was being transported to a hospital. Bossell is charged with first degree murder. She had recently bonded out of jail after a previous incident where she bit a police officer.
