KANSAS CITY - A man died in a motorcycle crash in northeast Wichita Saturday afternoon.
The crash happened just before 1 p.m. at the intersection of Rock Road and Oxford Circle, between 21st and 29th Street N. The motorcyclist and a vehicle collided while going through the intersection. When EMS arrived on the scene, they pronounced the man dead.
Emergency crews say the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet. The KHP identified the man as 69-year-old Christian Kauffman of Wichita.
The intersection was closed for more than 2 hours.
