KANSAS CITY - Mayor Quinton Lucas joined Kansas City's Morning News today, where he talked about the Chiefs aiming for their third straight Super Bowl victory. He says there will be a parade, but no public rally. This in response to last year's shooting that left one dead and nearly two dozen injured.
The mayor also said the current trade war, with President Trump putting tariffs on Canada and Mexico and those countries responding with tariffs on US goods, is a threat to Kansas City. Mayor Lucas says KC is a railroad town and goods have been shipped to Mexico and Canada through the city basically since its founding.
