KANSAS CITY - Mayor Quinton Lucas joined Kansas City’s Morning News today, as he talked about efforts to crack down on the spate of property crimes in the city. Over the weekend, at least four restaurants were burglarized.
Lucas also spoke about the Kansas City Pet Project, with a proposal pending to take the job of animal control in the city away from the organization and bring it back in house. Lucas says KC Pet Project is not up to where it needs to be when it comes to animal control.
