Jefferson City, MO – Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt announced Wednesday morning that he is running for the U.S. Senate in 2022. It comes days after another major Republican in the state, Eric Greitens, also announced his candidacy.

Schmitt made the announcement on Fox News saying "increasingly it feels like our culture and our country is slipping away."
