KANSAS CITY - A Missouri police department is searching for a missing member of their team.

Pagedale PD Captain Anthony Bilal says last night, their K9 'Raider,' got out during the storms and is currently lost.

"A tree limb... compromised the kennel." adding "[Raider] probably got frightened because of the rain and we believe he got loose from the handler's backyard."

They are asking residents to keep an eye out for their 3-year-old Dutch Shepherd Raider.

"Somewhere within the Hazelwood, Florissant, unincorporated North County area, probably wandering around."

Bilal says Raider is a kind dog.

"Raider is a very well mannered, tempered dog, he is not aggressive or anything like that. He is normally used for narcotics and drug searches."

However he says if you do spot Raider, call their department but do not approach him.

He's a brown dog with a black collar that says POLICE in big white letters.
