Kansas City, MO – According to James Palmer of NFL Network, Patrick Mahomes is ahead of schedule in his offseason rehab from foot surgery and will be participating in OTAs, which are set to begin on May 25th. The thought right now is he will 'do some stuff' and will then be fully ready to go for training camp."

Mahomes is currently recovering from surgery that he had shortly after Super Bowl LV, which was to fix a turf toe injury that he suffered in the Chiefs divisional round victory over the Cleveland Browns.

The initial recovery timetable for Mahomes' rehab from surgery was approximately 3 months and Chiefs' Gm Brett Veach had previously expressed optimism that Mahomes would be ready to go for the team's mandatory mini-camp in June, so this is certainly good news for the team.
