UPDATE 3:30 PM SUNDAY: Southwest Airlines media spokesman released the following statement to KMOX:
"Thanks for checking in. The St. Louis Airport lost power for approximately ten minutes this morning causing minor delays. All systems are back on and operations have resumed. We appreciate our Customers' patience as we work to accommodate those with connections affected by the outage."
KMOX News has still not heard from Ameren Missouri as to what caused the power outage.
ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A power outage at the Southwest Terminal at Lambert St. Louis Airport Sunday caused a little bit of angst among passengers Sunday.
According to Lambert's spokesman Roger Lotz, the power failure was determined to be an Ameren Missouri issue. KMOX has reached out to both Ameren and Southwest for more information, however, we have not heard back.
Lotz tells KMOX power was restored by early this afternoon.
