Kansas City, MO – President Joe Biden arrived at Kansas City International Airport aboard Air Force One on a visit to Kansas City to tour the Kansas City Area Transit Authority headquarters in downtown Kansas City, and then deliver remarks on the trillion dollar transportation and infrastructure bill he recently signed into law.
He is expected to talk about how the funding will go to road improvements, clean water, public transit, clean energy, high-speed internet and more.
The KCATA will be showcasing its zero emission electric buses.
The agency plans to use some of the funds to build out a bi-state bus line that would run from Independence to KCK.
The president is set to leave the KC Metro at 4:00pm.
