US Sen. Roy Blunt says he will not seek re-election

WASHINGTON – US Senator Roy Blunt (R-MO) announced this morning that he will not run for reelection in 2022.

Blunt made the announcement via a video message on social media:

Blunt, a member of the Republican leadership in the US Senate, is now the 5th GOP Senator to announce a retirement.
