KANSAS CITY - They’re undefeated, coming off a bye week, and their fans in Kansas City are hoping for another victory when they return to the field Sunday... but this isn't about the KC Chiefs, rather the Minnesota Vikings.
The KC Metro is always a sea of red and gold as Chiefs fans sport their favorite t-shirts and jerseys. But if you look closely, there’s also some tiny spots of purple.
The "Minnesota Vikings Official Fan Club - Kansas City" is growing and now approaching 600 members online. The group has weekly watch parties for each game at the Fox & Hound in Overland Park. Dozens attend in their Vikings gear, with the beating of a giant drum and chants of SKOL.
And there is optimism as the Vikings, along with the Chiefs are the only remaining undefeated teams in the NFL. If they both continue their winning ways, it's possible they could face off for a second time for the NFL championship.

In Super Bowl IV in 1970, Len Dawson and the Chiefs topped the Viking 23-7, in what some call the biggest upset in NFL history. The Chiefs have gone on to win four Super Bowls overall and are now trying to become the first team ever to win three straight. The Vikings have been to the Super Bowl four times and lost every time.
The Chiefs are on the road Sunday at San Francisco, with kickoff set for 3:25. You can hear the game on your radio or online with 96.5 The Fan.
The Vikings are at home for a noon game against a Detroit team that just crushed Dallas 47-9.
