KANSAS CITY - For the first time since 2006, the U.S. Figure Skating Championships are coming back to St. Louis, with the Enterprise Center set to host the 2026 U.S. Figure Skating Championships.

The championships will take place from Jan. 5 to Jan. 11, 2026, a little close to a month before the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo in Italy.

It will serve as the final qualifying event prior to the selection of the U.S. Figure Skating Team that will represent the U.S. in the 2026 Winter Olympics.

"It's absolutely been at the top of our list to bring the U.S. Figure Skating Championships back to St. Louis, so we are absolutely ecstatic to be hosting the event in 2026 and grateful to U.S. Figure Skating for the opportunity," said St. Louis Sports Commission President Marc Schreiber.

It will mark the first time since 2006 St. Louis has hosted the U.S. Figure Skating Championships and the fourth time the state of Missouri has hosted the event. The last time the event took place in Missouri was in 2017 at the then-Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

The last time St. Louis hosted the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in 2006, Johnny Weir took home his third-consecutive gold at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in men's Singles, Sasha Cohen took home her only gold medal at the event in 2006 in women's singles.

In pairs, John Baldwin Jr. and Rena Inoue took home the second gold medal in the event and in ice dance, Tenith Belbin and Benjamin Agosto won the second of their eventual four consecutive gold medals in the category.

Tickets for the 2026 U.S. Figure Skating Championships will go on sale in January.
