KANSAS CITY – Taylor Swift has made a large donation to a GoFundMe set up by the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a Kansas City Metro woman killed in the mass shooting at the end of the Chiefs Super Bowl victory parade at Union Station.
Variety confirmed the donation through Swift's representatives. Swift made two donations of $50,000, totaling $100,000.
Lisa Lopez-Galvan, 43, was one of 23 people shot in a mass shooting at the very end of the Chiefs' victory rally outside Union Station in Kansas City.
So far, she is the only confirmed fatality.
Lopez-Galvan was a music lover and DJ who played at weddings, quinceañeras and an American Legion bar and grill. She mixed Tejano, Mexican and Spanish music with R&B and hip-hop, and volunteered as a host on "Taste of Tejano", a radio program on 90.1 KKFI.
She also was a devoted fan of Kansas City's professional sports teams and went with her husband and young adult son to the parade and rally at Union Station to celebrate the Chiefs' Super Bowl win.
