KANSAS CITY - Police have made a third arrest in connection with the overdose death of a Wichita teenager.
A Wichita woman, 53, was taken into custody Wednesday morning and was transported to the Sedgwick County Jail. Two men have already been formally charged in connection with the death of the 15-year-old.
Isaac Hord and Niklas Wiley, both 24, made their first court appearance on Monday and were charged with first-degree murder and aggravated child endangerment.
Both men are being held on a $1,000,000 bond and are due back in court on Nov. 3.
The woman is being held on suspicion of involuntary manslaughter and endangering a child.
Formal charges against the woman are pending.
