KANSAS CITY – An early Monday high speed chase in eastern Kansas led to the arrest of three teen boys.
Authorities say it started around 3:45am Monday when a Eudora Police Officer saw a Kia traveling at more than 100 miles per hour.
Douglas County Sheriff’s Deputies picked up where Eudora left off, spotting the vehicle, still traveling west bound, now traveling 90 miles per hour and failing to maintain a lane.
They attempted to pull the car over, the driver refused and a chase ensued, coming to an end in southwest Lawrence.
Three teens, under the age of 18, jumped out of the car and tried to run away.
They were quickly caught.
One gun was recovered in the process.
