KANSAS CITY – Ticket sales start today for the coming Museum of BBQ in Kansas City.
The tickets being sold now are for dates in May. The museum will open in April and those tickets will go on sale later this month.
Located on the second floor of the Crown Center shops, the Museum of BBQ will tell the story of all things barbeque with various elements and regions of the craft, breaking them down by rooms dedicated to each.
First, visitors will see how a pitmaster takes raw meat and turns it into smoked goodness.
Then, as they branch off into other rooms, they can learn about different styles of BBQ from the Carolinas to Texas, Memphis, and of course, Kansas City.
On your way out you will be able to peruse the gift shop with rubs, sauces, and BBQ-themed goods.
