KANSAS CITY - Two teenage girls from Wichita were hospitalized after a jet ski crash at the Lake of the Ozarks Friday night.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded around 5:45 p.m.
A 13-year-old girl and a 15-year-old girl were reportedly riding watercrafts when the older teen sideswiped the other, ejecting both from their watercrafts.
The 13-year-old was transported to Lake Regional Hospital with serious injuries, while the 15-year-old had minor injuries.
Emergency crews say both teens were wearing safety devices.
