KANSAS CITY - Police say a reward of up to $5,000 is now being offered in the shooting death of 32-year-old Travon Stewart. He was killed on the evening of Thursday, October 22, during a youth football game at Dr. Glen Dey Park on N. Grove in Wichita.
Police Homicide Lt. Donald Moore said investigators have received only three tips in the six days since the deadly shooting; the unknown suspect was wearing black clothing.
Stewart was at the park selling concessions as a fundraiser for a youth football team; there were about 250 people in the park at the time of the shooting.
