KANSAS CITY - Sixteen year old Beaufort Leslie Volunteer Firefighter Chevy Gall is being remembered as an "old soul" by Pastor Paul Scheperle of Life Stream Church in Washington Missouri.
Pastor Scheperle asked for Chevy’s family to be overshadowed by God because this is a difficult day of trouble. Scheperle told family, friends and co-workers no one expects something so tragic to happen.
Firefighter Gall was responding to a water rescue call during the height the storms on April 4th.
But his car crossed the center line and he struck another vehicle U-S Route 50, near Missouri 185.
The driver of the car that was hit, had minor injuries.
