KANSAS CITY - In an effort to refresh your wardrobe, and prevent clothes from going into landfills, a Webster Groves mother and daughter are having a clothing swap for women.

The concept is simple -- bring in clothes you'd give to your sister or friend, and trade for new stuff.

"You brought 16 items with you, so that means you'll get to go inside and look through the pile until you find 16 items to bring home with you."

Cheryl Haney is organizing the swap along with her daughter, Savannah.

"Her generation of course, you know, is environmentally concerned and also waste concerned," Haynes says. "A clothing swap is just one way to kind of help you refresh your closet - at the same time it's just sharing."

There's a $15 fee to get in, which pays for the space. Any leftovers will be donated to the Jewish Women's Federation of St. Louis.
