KANSAS CITY - A public school teacher in Kansas has been arrested, accused of having a sexual relationship with a student.
Police learned about the allegations against the Wichita teacher on Monday. The Exploited and Missing Child Unit investigated.
The woman, 30, was booked Thursday afternoon on suspicion of one count of unlawful sexual relations with a student aged 16 or older.
Formal charges are pending, but she is being held on a $100-thousand-dollar bond.
A USD-259 spokesperson said she is currently on paid administrative leave.
