FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. - A woman from Sullivan, Missouri who is accused of driving while intoxicated and causing a fatal crash was previously charged for her actions on Jan. 6 during the riots at the U.S. Capitol.
Emily Hernandez, 22, was driving on the wrong side of Interstate 44 in Franklin County, Missouri when she struck another vehicle on Tuesday just after 7 p.m., according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report. The driver of that vehicle, 32-year-old Victoria Wilson, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hernandez was arrested for DWI resulting in death, but has not been formally charged in court, according to Fox 2. She was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries in the crash.
Next week, she has a plea hearing scheduled on charges she faces in connection to the U.S. Capitol riots last year. She was seen in a video holding a broken part of sign that hung over House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office.
Hernandez was arrested after turning herself in to the FBI office in St. Louis and charged with five misdemeanors, including knowingly entering a restricted building without lawful authority; demonstrating in the Capitol; stealing; and knowingly engaging in disorderly or disruptive conduct in a restricted building with intent to impede the orderly conduct of government.
