KANSAS CITY - Dorian Johnson, a key witness in the 2014 police shooting of Michael Brown, was shot and killed Sunday in Ferguson, Missouri.
Police say the 33-year-old was found in a neighborhood and died at a hospital. One person is in custody.
Johnson claimed 11 years ago that Michael Brown raised his hands in surrender and said, "don't shoot."
The U.S. Department of Justice under President Barack Obama conducted two investigations and issued a report stating that physical and forensic evidence did not support Johnson's claim.
