Xena vs. Hercules.
Lucy Lawless clapped back at her “Xena: Warrior Princess” co-star, Kevin Sorbo, for endorsing a baseless claim that “leftist agitators” were behind the Capitol riots in Washington D.C. on Wednesday, reported People.
Sorbo reshared a tweet supporting the far-right conspiracy theory about the riotous mob.
"Do these look like Trump supporters? Or Leftist agitators disguised as Trump supporters…" read the original tweet which included an image of the rioters that was labeled by Twitter as “manipulated media.”
The 62-year-old actor agreed with the theory by captioning his quote tweet, "They don't look like patriots to me…"
According to CNBC, the FBI has found “no indication” that individuals associated with the left-wing antifa movement disguised themselves as pro-Trump supporters to storm the Capitol.
Lawless was not having any of Sorbo’s unfounded commentary and spoke her mind.
"No, Peanut. They are not Patriots. They are your flying monkeys, homegrown terrorists, QAnon actors," the 52-year-old actress responded. "They are the d-----bags that go out and do the evil bidding of people like you who like to wind them up like toys and let them do their worst. #keepingYourFilthyHandsclean #enabler."
Sorbo starred in the titular role of “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys” from 1995 - 1999. Lawless played the lead in the “Hercules” spinoff “Xena: Warrior Princess” from 1995 - 2001.
Both Sorbo and Lawless made appearances on the two shows throughout their runs.
