Madonna only has eyes for the hills, buys The Weeknd’s house for $19.3 million

In today’s Real Estate news, Madonna shelled out some major bills for a new crib. Purchasing what is now the The Weeknd’s former sprawling California estate for $19.3 million.

After purchasing the 12,500-square-foot-plus mansion in 2017 for $18.2 million. “The Hills” singer, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, listed his Hidden Hills home last June with Angel Salvador at The Agency for $25 million before the property got a $6 million price cut.

The home includes seven bedrooms and 9.5 bathrooms and sits on nearly three acres of grassy lawns and sun-drenched hillsides surrounded by redwood trees for ultimate privacy.

Features include an entry hall with a double-height ceiling and a two-story window wall, a grand foyer holds a grand piano with sitting chairs and double-height windows, an expansive chef’s kitchen, and an entertainer’s bar, a five-car auto gallery, wine cellar and then some.

Madonna who’s already acquired quite a collection of real estate, including a 58-acre farm in Bridgehampton, as well as properties in London and a penthouse in Manhattan, closed the deal on her most recent purchase on April 9, leaving Abel to choose dwell between a small collection of his own. A $21 million penthouse in Los Angeles’ Westwood neighborhood, or $60,000 per month Tribeca penthouse, for which he recently renewed his lease. Either way, considering his options, we’re sure he’ll be just fine.
