Covid continues to plague the start of the Washington Nationals season.

After postponing their opening series against the New York Mets, the Nationals are also postponing Monday’s game against the Atlanta Braves, per MLB insider Ken Rosenthal.

Rosenthal adds there remains hope to play by Tuesday.

The Nationals reportedly have three confirmed positives as of Friday, but the entire team is under a “Mike Rizzo-mandated quarantine” until they figure it out, the GM said last week.

The names of the players who have tested positive have not been disclosed.

It is also unknown when the Mets and Nationals will makeup their opening series or when Monday's game will be rescheduled.

Max Scherzer has been scheduled to start Washington's first game while the Braves had Drew Smyly lined up to pitch on Monday after getting swept by the Phillies.
