NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Dr. Anthony Fauci turned 80 on Thursday — and the incoming first couple marked the occasion with a musical tribute.
In a clip posted to Twitter Thursday morning, President-elect Joe Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, sang “Happy Birthday” to Fauci, who heads the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
“Hey pal, happy birthday. It’s Jill and Joe Biden,” the president-elect can be heard saying in the clip.
Fauci, who received his COVID-19 vaccine at the National Institutes of Health on Tuesday, told the Guardian his wife, Dr. Christine Grady, threw him a surprise “Zoom” party for his birthday this year.
