COLDWATER, Mich. (WWJ) -- A Burger King employee was arrested over the weekend after a fight involving a bite, according to authorities.
Police in Coldwater, Michigan, said 22 year-old Austin Lawhead was working at the fast food restaurant Sunday night when he confronted a 46-year-old coworker about a personal item that Lawhead believed was stolen by the victim.
There was shouting and then a fight, during which Lawhead jumped over the restaurant's front counter and attacked the other man.
Lawhead is accused of hitting the victim with his phone and biting his face.
The violent incident was caught on cell phone video by a customer, and posted to social media. **NOTE: The following video is unedited and does contain profanity. See it here.**
When police arrived, the victim was found bleeding with multiple head injuries.
He was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, and Lawhead was taken into custody.
The Branch County Prosecutor's Office has since charged Lawhead with assault with intent to do great bodily harm, less than murder. His arraignment was scheduled for Monday afternoon.
