
Based on the lightning-fast rate tickets were snapped up for a Garth Brooks concert scheduled April 30, Baton Rouge’s Tiger stadium will be full with fans when the country star takes the stage.
It will be his first visit to the city in more than two decades and the only chance for Louisiana residents to see him in their home state next year.
According to WBRZ, most of the tickets for the show sold out within two hours of going on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. Thousands are still trying to get seats, said the outlet.
By noon Friday, 90,000 tickets had been sold. This was already close to the 102,000 capacity at Tiger Stadium, an outdoor Louisiana State University facility.
As of Saturday afternoon, there appeared to be some tickets for the show available on StubHub, though none were less than $100.
