An active shooter was reported Wednesday afternoon at the University of Las Vegas, with multiple people injured.
Local media reports began coming in at around noon on Wednesday after university police said they responded to shots fired in a campus building. Additional shots were later reported in the Student Union.
Police later confirmed that they were responding to the school, where there appeared to be multiple victims.
Police in Las Vegas later announced the suspect had been located and was deceased. No further information was released at the time.
