Singer D4vd has a new legal team after his private attorneys pulled out, and he's pleaded not guilty again with public defenders representing him.
The three lawyers who were representing him withdrew from the case Monday morning before the hearing, in which he pleaded not guilty to charges that he killed and dismembered 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez.
Rivas’ remains were found in the trunk of his Tesla at a Hollywood tow yard last year. Prosecutors accuse Burke of killing Celeste Rivas Hernandez because she threatened to expose their alleged relationship and damage his music career.
Burke is being held without bail and could face the death penalty, although prosecutors haven't decided whether they'll go after it.
He's due back in court in late October.
