A video from NFL kicker Aldrick Rosas' arrest on June 15 surfaced on Monday, thanks to TMZ Sports.
In the three-minute clip, one officer asks Rosas — who, even as a kicker, stands at 6-foot-3 and weighs 221 pounds — to sit down. Rosas complies seconds later, and though he's out of the shot for most of the clip, the discussion between the policeman and the kicker reveals that he's not in the best condition.
The officer asks him if he's hurting, which was evidently prompted by the fact that he was bloody and barefoot, with "pretty messed up feet," all of which led to an ambulance coming to the scene and Rosas eventually going to a hospital.
Despite three criminal charges, including a misdemeanor hit-and-run, Rosas signed with the Jaguars prior to the 2020 season and played in six games after spending the previous three campaigns as the New York Giants' everyday kicker.
Overall, Rosas is 70-86 on field goals in his career, most recently going 8-11 with the Jags in a limited sample size. He also converted all nine of his extra points with Jacksonville, and his performance was enough for the two sides to come to terms on a one-year, $1.13 million deal ahead of 2021.
