This week, Gregr’s getting a little nervous watching a woman receive a tattoo remotely over a 5G connection.

The project by T-Mobile Netherlands is called "The Impossible Tattoo," and has tasked London-based techie Noel Drew and tattoo artist Wes Thomas with building a 5G-powered, robotic machine learning system that allows Thomas to ink his clients from afar. Dutch TV personality Stijn Fransen was brave enough to let the robot permanently brand her with a small tattoo commemorating not only her love for the outdoors but also a world first.
"The YouTube of the process made me hella nervous," says Gregr. We agree, especially when Fransen's arm was strapped down, not at all resembling a normal tattoo experience. But hey, technology, amirite?
