After 20 years in the NFL, Drew Brees is officially calling it a career.
The 42-year-old quarterback announced his retirement on Sunday in an Instagram video featuring his kids.
Brees is a no-doubt Hall of Famer and one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game. His legacy in New Orleans will always be remembered and the impact he had on the city, the organization, league and teammates was something special ever since he joined the franchise 15 years ago to this date.
As Brees released the news of his retirement, many on social media, including teammates such as Cameron Jordan and head coach Sean Payton as well as opposing players and teams, such as Russell Wilson and the Atlanta Falcons, reminisced on his career and honored the future Hall of Famer.
Others just wanted to shoutout the adorable video he made with his kids to make the announcement.
