There's not a lot in this world that Travis Kelce should be jealous of.
He's the NFL's leading receiver with a whopping 1,250 yards, and he's not even a wide receiver. He has the best quarterback in the league and a likely future Hall of Famer throwing him the ball in Patrick Mahomes. He's fresh off of a Super Bowl win. He was nominated by the Chiefs for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award. He was the focus of a bachelor-themed dating show. He is set to make well over $10 million per year over the next half-decade. He's back with his talented and well-known girlfriend Kayla Nicole.
He loves musicals?
I don't know if that last one really fits, but it still felt worth mentioning. The point is that the Chiefs' star tight end is one of the most dominant talents on the field and charismatic (and marketable) personalities off of it, and there isn't a whole lot that you can point out about him in terms of his shortcomings.
Except for his hair, according to what he told Rich Eisen in an interview on Tuesday's show.
"I'll tell you what, it just doesn't flow the same," Travis said when comparing his hair to his brother's. "It doesn't. He's got the mane over there. I can't imitate it. I gotta work with what I've got, Rich, and that's a high-and-tight fade."
And in a very Kelce-esque way, the tight end analyzed his older brother's "mane" after seeing his pregame outfit on Sunday.
"I saw the short video that the Eagles posted man, and I'll tell you what. When Jason Kelce has got the mullet flowing and he's got the Timberlands on, something's about to go down," Travis said. "I mean, that's an action movie, him walking into the last scene of an action movie. That's it right there.
"And you don't want to get in Jason Kelce's way when he has that look going. I've seen it one too many times."
If only we could have been flies on the wall for some of those Kelce brother clashes growing up... if they were any more epic than the comparison of their respective Super Bowl speeches, it would have been top-notch content.
