The miracle heave that ended the Bills-Cardinals Week 10 clash evoked strong social media reaction, and deservedly so.

But while many athletes and fans focused on the potentially historic greatness of the game-winning grab, one notable player decided to focus on another angle.

Kansas City Chiefs safety Tyrann Mathieu, who began his career with the Arizona Cardinals and spent a year with the Houston Texans in 2018, threw shade at one of his former teams, and it wasn't the Cardinals.

His response not-so-subtly referenced the Texans' decision to fire Vice President of Communications Amy Palcic, citing that she was not a "cultural fit," according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The move to fire her and the supposed lack of "cultural fit" was slammed by many in the NFL community, as she was widely respected and praised throughout the industry. Texans star J.J. Watt was one of many who expressed support for Palcic and seemed to question the reasoning.

"I think you can tell from the universal response from prominent people in the business, what type of person Amy is and how well respected and well liked she is, both inside our building and outside the building," Watt said during a presser (via SportsRadio 610). "Extremely professional. Just really good at her job. Cared a lot. Just wants what’s best for the team and what’s best for the organization. Always trying to do what’s best, and was a massive helping hand with me during the hurricane, during my entire time here. So, I think it’s a very difficult loss. She’s an incredible person and I think she’s going to have another job in an absolute heartbeat. I think it’s a big loss for us.”

Palcic revealed her emotions following the news in a passionate tweet, calling it "arguably the most humiliating day of my life" and showing gratitude for those who supporter her.

Several Twitter users appreciated the jab from Mathieu.

Hopkins was traded to the Cardinals with a 2020 fourth-round pick in return for running back David Johnson, a 2020 second-round pick and a 2021 fourth-round pick in a move that was widely considered to be one of the worst in recent years if not of all time. Entering Week 10, Hopkins ranked in the top five in receiving yards, receptions and receiving yards per game, and those rankings will only improve after his seven-catch, 127-yard performance against the Bills.

The Texans, on the other hand, fell to 2-7 on the season after a weak 10-7 loss to the Browns.
