Bryce Harper broke into the big leagues as a teen, and his young son may not be far behind.
The Phillies star posted a video to his Instagram account on Wednesday, in which his 1-year-old son Krew is seen giving a whiffle ball an impressive ride off a tee.
Just like his papa, the beefy tyke -- apparently still in diapers -- times his cut with an exaggerated leg kick before unleashing a fierce cut that sends the ball past an infielder and down what looks to be a quiet residential street.
While Bryce is known as one of the most feared lefty sluggers in baseball, Krew appears to be taking his hacks from the right side of the dish.
The post's location is tagged as Clearwater, Florida, where the Phillies hold Spring Training.
Krew, born to Bryce and wife Kayla in August 2019, is about 18 months old now. The couple welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Brooklyn, last November.
Baseball is a family affair for the Harpers. Bryce has long credited his father, Ron, with teaching him to play and love the game.
Ron made headlines back in 2018, when he was the pitcher for Bryce's at-bats in the 2018 Home Run Derby, which Bryce won.
Krew, though a bit on the young side, could have some stiff competition among the sons of NL East sluggers. Last year, Freddie Freeman's adorable 4-year-old son Charlie turned heads with an impressive swing of his own.
