They say gifting is better than receiving and Katy Perry probably agrees after receiving an interesting baby gift from her fellow American Idol judge, Luke Bryan.

The Georgia-born Country singer proudly shared during a recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel that he gifted Perry’s newborn daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, a Daisy BB gun. “It just seemed to be the right gift," Bryan said followed by “it will never see the light of day… Maybe under lock and key.”
Perry welcomed her daughter in August 2020 with fiancé Orlando Bloom. The couple received various gifts from fellow celebrities including Beyoncé and Taylor Swift.
Perry shared her thoughts during a February episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live saying “Look, us judges, we stay true to who we are.” She expressed her appreciation explaining, “Lionel [Richie] and Luke gave very Lionel and Luke gifts. Lionel gave her a nice robe and then a bottle of champagne for mom and dad, and then Luke gave her a pink tractor and a Daisy BB gun.”
Perry also shared with Kimmel the meaning behind her first-born’s name. “Daisy, to me, means pure, like, purity and Dove means peace and Bloom kind of feels like it means joy. So, it's like very pure, peace and joy."
Lionel, Luke and Katy are currently judges on the third season on American Idol on ABC, which just wrapped a star-studded week featuring contestant duets with various celebrities including Jewel, Ben Rector, Jimmie Allen, Ryan Tedder, Brian McKnight, Tori Kelly, Jason Aldean and more.
