The Zac Brown Band are making some ferocious plans for the summer, announcing their 2020 Roar with the Lions Tour, set to kick off in May.
The trek will take on the entire discography of the band, from the “Chicken Fried” early days to genre-blurring sounds of their new album, The Owl, all with a dash of the covers that have become a staple of the group’s legendary live show.
“Our summer tour is inspired by the folklore surrounding the figure of the lion. I am a Leo, and all of the guys in the band are lions,” Zac Brown explains in a statement. “They exemplify strength, courage, intelligence, and loyalty, and work in tandem to defend their territory and one another. The crowd is our pride – rooted in togetherness and fiercely loyal. They always show up for each other, no matter what, just like our fans always show up for us. We can’t wait to hear you roar with us!”
The tour kicks off in May, but first Zac Brown Band will play RADIO.COM’s The Night Before, celebrating the biggest weekend in sports with the ultimate pre-game concert, this year starring the group at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida. It all happens on Saturday February 1 with RADIO.COM. Tickets are on sale now.
